Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing The One Bloom. Because we ship live, delicate plants, our shipping process is slightly different from standard dry-goods retail. We prioritize the health and safety of your succulents above all else.

 1. Shipment Processing Time (Handling Time)


Handling Time: All orders require 2 to 4 business days to process and prepare before shipping.

Why the delay? To ensure your plants survive transit without rotting, we must carefully bare-root them (remove soil), trim excess roots, and allow the roots and surface moisture to dry completely. Shipping a wet or freshly potted succulent can cause fatal root rot during transit. 

Please Note: We do not ship out orders on Thursdays or Fridays to prevent live plants from sitting in a cold or hot courier warehouse over the weekend. 

 2. Transit Times & Carriers

Once your plants are fully dried and safely packed in specialized eco-friendly packaging, they are handed over to our trusted domestic carriers.

Carriers Used: USPS (United States Postal Service) or UPS (United Parcel Service).

Transit Time: 3 to 6 business days depending on your distance from our warehouse in Syosset, NY.

Total Delivery Estimate: Expect your package to arrive within 5 to 10 business days from the date of your purchase.

 3. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight and destination of your order. Any promotional free shipping thresholds will be automatically applied at checkout.

 4. Tracking Your Order

You will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your USPS/UPS tracking number once your order is packed. Tracking information typically activates within 24 hours of carrier pickup.

 5. Extreme Weather Conditions

Succulents are sensitive to extreme frost or severe heat waves. If your local forecast shows freezing temperatures (below 32°F/0°C) or extreme heat (above 95°F/35°C), we may proactively hold your order for a few days to protect the plants. We will notify you via email if a weather hold is necessary.
