Cotyledon Orbiculata Hakubi Plant Characteristics
Leaves: Thick, oval-shaped succulent leaves with irregular serrated edges, resembling rabbit ears, hence the name. The surface is covered in dense, soft fuzz. The base color is gray-green, splashed with irregular yellowish-white variegation. Under sufficient sunlight, leaf edges turn reddish-brown, and the variegation becomes more vivid; in low light, colors fade, variegation dulls, and the fuzz appears sparse.
Growth Form: Shrub-like with an upright stem that lignifies over time, forming a rustic old-stem appearance. Growing up to 20-30 cm tall, it branches freely and clusters easily, creating a full, bushy shape.
Flowers: Blooming in late winter to early spring, it produces slender flower stems with terminal racemes. The bell-shaped flowers are orange-red, with petals curling outward and prominent stamens, resembling tiny lanterns that contrast beautifully with the foliage.
