In winter, the temperature is low. It is recommended that you buy a heatpack to keep the succulents warm.
In case of extreme cold and severe weather, I will leave a message for you, and it is recommended to ship later.

In summer, it is a very normal and common phenomenon that the lower leaves of succulents will dissolve or fall off during transportation, and this phenomenon is not covered by claims. Succulents have a very high mortality rate in summer, so please buy with caution.

About the treatment of succulents:

When you receive the succulents
Step1: trim its original root system, cut off the dead root system and capillary root system, keep the main root system, fresh root system. Remove dead leaves, leaves that turn water, and broken leaves.
Step2: can clean the dust and impurities on the plants.
Step 3: Place it in a cool and ventilated place to air dry naturally, and let the wound on the root system heal. Usually, it can be planted after 2-3 days.

If you plant it, it needs loose and breathable soil, preferably granular soil.
At the beginning, it will grow roots, usually consume its lower leaves and fade some color. At this time, you need to give it water. You can water some water along the edge of the flowerpot for about 3 days one time. It only needs to scatter light.

When you are sure that the plant has been potted, it will not move when you gently touch the plant with your fingers, tilt, and merge with the soil.
1. You can slowly reduce the water to it, and wait until the soil is completely dry before watering.
2. Maintain sufficient sunshine, about 12 hours of sunshine every day. If there is insufficient sunlight, plant growth lights can also be used.
3. It is best to have enough temperature difference between day and night.

The One Bloom Succulent Kit Usage Guide

Succulent Plant Care Instructions and Precautions

  • 1. Light Requirements:

    • Adequate Sunlight: Succulents prefer bright, indirect light. Most species require 8-10 hours of sunlight daily.
    • Avoid Direct Sunburn: Provide shade during hot summer days to prevent leaf burn.
  • 2. Watering Methods:

    • Moderate Watering: Water only when the soil is completely dry. Overwatering is the main cause of root rot.
    • Proper Watering Technique: Use the “soak and dry” method—water thoroughly and let excess water drain from the bottom of the pot.
    • Seasonal Adjustments: Increase watering frequency during the growing seasons (spring and autumn) and reduce it during dormancy (summer or winter, depending on the species).
  • 3. Soil and Pots:

    • Well-Draining Soil: Use specialized succulent soil or mix sandy soil components like peat moss, perlite, and gritty soil to ensure good drainage.
    • Pots with Drainage Holes: Choose pots with drainage holes. Terracotta pots are ideal due to their breathability, which helps with moisture evaporation.
  • 4. Temperature and Humidity:

    • Optimal Temperature: The best growing temperature for succulents is between 15-25°C (60-77°F).
    • Cold Protection: Most succulents are not frost-tolerant. Move them indoors if temperatures drop below 5°C (41°F).
    • Low Humidity Environment: Succulents prefer dry environments, so avoid placing them in humid areas like bathrooms.
  • 5. Pruning and Regular Maintenance

    • Remove Dead Leaves: Regularly remove dead or dried leaves to prevent pests and fungal infections.
    • Trim Overgrown Stems: Prune overgrown stems to keep the plant compact and attractive.
  • 6. Pest and Disease Prevention:

    • Watch for Pests: Common pests include mealybugs, aphids, and spider mites. Use insecticidal soap or neem oil spray for treatment.
    • Prevent Root Rot: Avoid waterlogging by using breathable pots and well-draining soil to prevent fungal infections and root rot.
