Lithops, commonly known as “Living Stones” or “Living Gems,” is a perennial succulent herbaceous plant from the Aizoaceae family and Lithops genus. Its stone-like appearance gives it its unique name.
Morphological Features

• The top is flat with a central fissure from which flowers emerge.
• Leaves:
• The leaves are thick and fleshy, displaying a variety of colors.
• The top features darker branching indentations or mottled patterns known as “windows.”
• Flowers:
• Flowers are solitary and daisy-like, with a diameter of 2-3 cm.
• They are typically white or yellow and bloom during the summer and autumn.
• Each flower lasts about a week.
